Designer's Comments:

I wanted to do something that expressed the theme in a simple almost childlike way so I used the interaction between these birdlike characters, their features pared back to almost primary forms, to convey it.

I didn't just want to highlight the differences between the supposedly "normal" & "abnormal" traits the characters were expressing but to emphasize that despite their differences there is still a sense of caring & unity amongst them as a whole.
